Stan Current January 3, 2025 at 7:29 pm Good to know when we can read Lone Dog Road, Kent. Kind of like when we get to see the newborn. You’d written LDR and then went thru a worse labor publishing it. I felt bad enough for you to pray. Publishers can be prejudiced, like governors wanting to take away more Native American land. Same as it ever was. Your books address this travesty of justice. Please Know I don’t mind waiting for LDR. Re-reading a couple of your books has helped, especially seeing things I missed. I love all your books but am more drawn to Chief Joseph. I don’t expect Lone Dog Road will change that. The spirit of those who’ve lived and are among us still resonate with me more. Like you, Kent. Novels are unique taking us to places inside us we wouldn’t have known and what may be demanded of us to grow. It can be transforming and life saving, such are your books. Best Wishes for 2025 Kent!
