Sorry about the dead website for the last several weeks. I’ve been busy on a number of fronts. There will soon be new news on the gravesite and headstone — a wonderful project that is coming to a wonderful conclusion. I also have been in Oklahoma and Kansas doing some Nez Perce research, and will soon be going to Alamosa, Colorado to speak at a college. All this is uninteresting without details, but you’ll have to wait until I have more time to get more info.
However, there is one bit of housekeeping. This site is getting hammered with some kind of automated comment spam for various products to enlarge and engorge the private parts of desperate men. I can’t believe that there are people who buy such things, but this is a strange world. Anyway, to stop this flood I have been forced to shut down the “comment” feature to this weblog. If you have comments or anything else, please now use the form on the contact me page.
This way, the erectors, engorgers, mortgage hawkers, investment scamsters and other odd folk with a penchant for internet trolling will, hopefully, be stopped from their automated predations.
A real entry soon — or, at least, I hope so.Posted on: April 7, 2004knerburn
