Within the month, Chief Joseph and the Flight of the Nez Perce hits the bookstores. Those of you who have read this blog have followed with me to some extent as the book has taken shape. You’ve seen the struggles over title; you’ve sensed the difficulties and frustrations that have beset me during the writing process. It has, indeed, not been an easy project. But, at long last, the literary child is born.
