I have just lost interest in the whole process. I don't feel I have a voice or a choice. It is not an America that is the voice of the people. It is the voice of the media that decides. Our choices are unknown or known too much. It is no longer one nation under God.

Nice write up. I am from the UK and not really kept up with the Presidential race, its been a long time since I heard the phrase "flip-flopping", last time was during Bush Vs. Kerry on Fox News where Kerry was being accused of wearing flip flops.

I cannot see Barack Obama selecting Hillary as his running mate. The person selected to be a vice-president should be one who is 100% behind the president. Hillary would have her own agenda and the complication of having Bill tagging along. There are many other qualified candidates who would make excellent running mates for Obama. If he chooses Hillary, he better select an Official Food and Drink Taster just in case.

We don't need another 8 or 16 years of the Clintons in the White House. That would be too much! I would prefer that Obama select another US Senator like Joe Biden who could provide him seasoned advice in Foreign Affairs and the needed military expertise. At least those are my thoughts.

Your blog is an excellent one. It makes me think. Thanks. Eric

Well, from what I can tell Republicans look to be angling by equating Obama as "the next Jimmy Carter." I'll admit that I find myself skeptical about nearly all politicians because to rise to the top you usually have to have paid some basement dues along the way. Thats why I loved Edwards. He was the only one taking NO money from lobbyists but the networks never gave him airtime compared to Clinton and Obama very early on.
I think Clinton could make a good running mate but the irrational hatred that the Clintons evoke in so many also can be quite taxing and exhausting. I don't know. I just don't want McCain. Like you, I respect and am grateful to his service but he has been back a LONG time and passed enough votes for things that I simply cannot agree with him on. Its going to be an interesting next five months!!
Sending a hug your way Kent!
