I have really been enjoying your blog lately, Kent!

I just wanted to add my hope that the older generation, who learned so much through the 60s...good and bad....will also find it in their hearts to once again say, "“We’ve had enough. It’s time for change.”

Unlike the younger generation in the 60s, the older generation now has been there and done that....and even though the dream of that day wasn't able to come to full fruition, I pray that those convictions and dreams are still living in those once empassioned hearts and that they are awakening so they can lead they way as far as helping us profoundly shift things on this planet for the better. How many dreams are realized on the first attempt? I pray that the older generation will set aside their disillusionment and try, try again.

Onward and upward...Together we CAN change the world.

I wish I knew what the answer was, as I'm sure we all do. The main thing is to "do what you can, with what you have, where you are" All of our actions, whether as governmental or individual affect the world as a whole. It won't be until EVERYONE "gets it" that things will change for the better. That goes not only for structures but the structure of world community as well.

Sigh, and we thought we could change the world back then. Who knows...we may have some up-and-coming that will. One can only hope. The key is, never give up hope and never stop trying.
