I didn&#039;t like Kennedy&#039;s vision - it became the basis for the &quot;Great Society&quot; programs that destroyed the self reliance that had seen us through WWII and the amazing economic recovery that followed.    Reagan&#039;s vision was clearly focused on restoring that &quot;can-do&quot; spirit and succeeded in pulling us out of the &quot;moral malaise&quot; that characterised the 70&#039;s.    Clinton had the charisma to communicate and connect with the people, but unfortunately his vision tended to waffle with the polls.    GW while not a great communicator is steadfast and unchanging in his view that the best way to increase America&#039;s security is to actively spread democracy and economic self-determinancy across the globe.</description>
